It consists of several key stages:<\/p>\n    \n    <ol>\n        <li><strong>Mounting and unwinding the roll<\/strong> \u2013 The paper roll is placed on an unwind stand. The paper unwinds gradually into the machine. Proper tension is maintained to avoid wrinkles.<\/li>\n        <li><strong>Guiding and decurling the web<\/strong> \u2013 The paper passes through guide rollers. A decurling mechanism removes the &#8220;roll memory.&#8221; This eliminates the curl caused by winding.<\/li>\n        <li><strong>Slitting<\/strong> \u2013 Circular slitting knives trim the web edges to the desired width. They can also slice one wide web into several narrower strips.<\/li>\n        <li><strong>Crosscutting<\/strong> \u2013 A knife mechanism cuts the moving web crosswise. It usually uses a drum with a rotating knife. This sets the specific sheet length (e.g., A1, B1 format).<\/li>\n        <li><strong>Delivery and stacking<\/strong> \u2013 Finished sheets move via conveyor belts to the delivery table. An automatic jogger stacks them perfectly on a pallet.
